ZenNews24 publishes two editorial editions a day and uses software to condense what matters right now. This page explains how – and where humans decide.
We continuously read the headlines of public news sources and our own stories from the last 14 days. Every item is assigned to a persistent topic. The rank comes from volume, source diversity, speed of growth and freshness. The arrow shows movement against the normal level (↑↑ surging, ↑ rising, → stable, ↓ cooling, ● new).
Reports on the same event are bundled into one story, so you see “7 updates” instead of seven near-identical cards. Matches below 92% confidence go to editorial review; below 75% they are discarded.
Short summaries such as “In 30 seconds” or “Catch me up” are generated with AI models from the reports at hand and contain only facts from those reports. Editors can step in at any time, boost or demote stories, or remove them from the front page. Only editors set “Breaking”.
We detect places from the text of our stories and distinguish where something happens from who it affects.
Your place, followed topics and saved stories are stored only in your browser. There is no account.
If something is wrong, email editorial@zennews24.com. We flag corrections in the story.
